A bastard sword is an old-fashioned sword wrought out of steel and is rather common among mercenaries and guards in Astralis. It is a bastard sword consisting of a long, double-edged blade, a slightly curved guard, and a blackened leather grip.

Carried by knights, higher level bandits, and city guards. Bastard swords are commonly found as random loot on chests at a higher level.
